Checkpoint--more pictures and unrelated thoughts

The past few weeks have gone by pretty fast. They've been especially good, though. I got to a point where I stopped getting intimidated by my workload and started perceiving my assignments as fun challenges. I've been amazed and amused all at once. As a result of the hard work, however, I get pretty beat by the end of week and need a lot of time to recover.

Stop.

Since I don't have class on Friday, Thursday is often the beginning of my weekend. The pattern I typically encounter is that I work really hard Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and at least part of Thursdays. Then on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays I can be rather inert and am often too exhausted to do anything.

I don't know if Bloomington has especially more vibrant and colorful foliage compared to VA or what, but I can't help but notice the colors of leaves changing all the time. It's really amazing. There have been some places where you can almost pick out colors of the rainbow in a section of trees.

-Rainbow.
Tonight I bought a chocolate peanut butter parfait that was 75 percent chocolate fudge and peanut butter. I regretted the purchase. It is a sad night for ice cream.
Thanksgiving break is coming soon. Although I feel like I've gotten more settled and comfortable here, I still look forward to it.
The other day I played in my studio class for the first time. It didn't quite go how I wanted it to go, but I'm looking forward to future opportunities to play. I love having not only the time to practice what I need to practice but also the pressure and push to get things done. I'm learning a lot and learning how to learn faster, which makes me pretty happy.

I also bought chips immediately after buying ice cream. It was a better purchase than the ice cream.

God has been giving me strength, and I am well.
