After a wonderful last week in Harrisonburg, I am here in Bloomington, now. I actually finished writing the previous post just a little bit before and could have combined the two, but I felt a need to break it up into two separate entries.
I have many people to thank for making my week so sweet, memorable, and enjoyable, and I will miss you all very much.
Marc and Caroline Elysee, thanks for your kind words last Thursday! You two are wonderful and fun. Marc, I'm glad we got to play through Debussy a couple of times. We will have to continue working on that as a long term project. Hope to see you guys again when I'm back in town!
Tom Carr, I will miss our many passing hallway conversations and look forward to have another few when I'm back. I've really enjoyed our lunches and dinners. Thanks for being so supportive!
Gabriel Dobner, my JMU piano teacher. I'll miss playing for you, but I'm glad we can share the IU connection now!
Ednaldo, thanks for your friendship and companionship on our many food excursions. Please come visit Indiana soon!
Jonathan and Claire, thanks for coming with me to Indiana and helping me move things in. It was SO helpful to have you guys bring the van, and I am so thankful it worked out that way. My parents are also very thankful. I will miss you guys a lot and wish you guys a great semester. Keep in touch. Will, I will miss rooming with you. Let's keep it silly.
One of my favorite pictures taken from my last night in Harrisonburg at Gustavo's. You all are so wonderful. I will miss you all very much. Thank you for all the kind meaningful comments you made to me in your goodbyes! Thanks Gustavo for starting that.
Gustavo and Hyun Mi, thanks for being like family to me and making me really feel like I'm part of a bigger family in Christ. I really miss you guys a lot already and am sad I won't be seeing you all at least 3 times a week =]
