I'm gradually gaining a better understanding of German grammar. I just need to review and practice what I study more. I learn more and more everyday from miscellaneous online grammar summaries and from conversations with more experienced American German speakers. I picked up some really useful tips from Nick and Bill today. German aside, I've also been able to make some noticeable progress with some of my solo practicing for which I am grateful. It seemed like I'd never get op. 10 no. 4 or the Moszkowski etude in my hands, but I'm starting to figure out how to improve my technique to cross those barriers. I've been acquiring a growing appetite for learning more music. I am currently admiring Janacek's piano music and am interested in learning something by him. I've also been thinking about Rachmaninoff's 2nd sonata a lot.
If only I had more time for all of these things!
