The pizza I had for dinner--chopped up bacon and extra cheese for 6.50 euro. Fit for one.

Today's rehearsal and dress rehearsal was much MUCH better than yesterday's. I think our show will come together for tomorrow. Keep us in your prayers as some of our students have to perform in THREE shows tomorrow--two for Suor Angelica and one for Beggar's Opera. I'm just doing the Beggar's Opera in the evening.
After rehearsal, I went to get pizza at a local restaurant with Thorsten. I find that whenever I eat out at a restaurant here, I can anticipate being there for at least an hour and a half or two. I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing or if it's just because when I eat out with people here we all have more free time to kill. It may be my imagination, but it seems like it's more of a social thing here. It seems like the waiters and waitresses expect you to stay long after your meal. It often seems like it takes them forever to deliver the meal, too. At least everything is delicious.
