Day 31 - Lieder is a dangerous leader

12:15 - 1:30 - Practice Schumann

1:30-2:25 - Record Schumann with Thorsten

2:35-4:15 - German class

5:00-5:55 - Practice Wolf

5:55-6:15 - Dinner

6:15-6:30 - Rehearse with Brian

6:30-8:30 - Rehearse with Abby

9:15-10:15 - Rehearse with Emily

11:00-11:15 - Brief pause for birthday ice cream cake

11:15-11:55 - Practice Wolf

I think it's dangerous for me to be in a lieder course with so many talented singers. I keep encountering Wolf songs I like very much and wanting to learn more music. I always think, what's one more, but I think I'm starting to test my limits. I'm glad to have the chance finally to get some rehearsals going. The energy from ensemble always motivates me to practice and to fine tune. The issue now is energy and time management. I have to figure out how to balance practicing in the midst of many rehearsals.
