I find that German food is eating up my money very quickly. The food, however, is very delicious. I am only in Germany for so long, so what am I to do to reconcile this?
Reduce "kuchen" consumption? (kuchen = cake)
Never.
I'm not sure if my body shuts down faster as a result of my sugary indulgences or if I'm just naturally tired because it's Thursday. All I know is that after devouring an apple butter streusel of some sort after dinner, my body and mind was NOT up for doing a whole lot. It's probably just because it's late in the week.
The kuchen is faultless.
In other news, we have one day of rehearsals left before the premiere of the Beggar's opera. I do think that the progress made after one week is remarkable and that the product has some fantastic moments. I hope everyone manages to come through with their lines for the show.
